In order to create a custom guild site, a user must first complete the sign up process. When creating an account, a user is required to give contact information in the form of an e-mail address. We use this information to contact the user with information about their website (for example, a "welcome email" which contains the website address).

If you request to upgrade from a free Guildtoad account, you will be asked to provide personal information.
